There's a Mystery Cat up on the skyway.

Who could it be?

 Hmmmmmm, Mystery Cat is apparently tuxedo, so that narrows it down...

...to either Sylvester or Salem.

Give up?

Wellllll, since it is a Mancat Monday, the correct answer is: 

Sylvester!

It's in the mid 80's here in the desert, and the higher you sleep on the Catio, the warmer it is...there are Dead Cats littered about up on the ramps.

Rocket Launch

 Mommy caught me playing "Astronaut"--I was getting ready to go into orbit around the skyways!

Mission Control, all systems are GO...

...firing engines...launching in 3...2...1...

LIFTOFF!

And you know what happened next?  Mommy put the camera down and chased me around the Catio....her on the ground, and me on the ramps.  She clapped her hands and "Ssssssssed" at me until my tail poufed up with excitement and I was panting.

It was awesome.

When I saw that Mommy was on the Catio it reminded me that I needed something.

Something only a Mommy can provide...

...but first I had to stop and sniff here...

...and here.

I made my way along the skyway,

taking time to strike a pose...

...before I wound my way down onto the Apartment House...

...where I gave Mommy a plaintive Look.

Do you remember how I said I needed something?

This was it--a nice fingernail scratch between the ears.

mmmmmmm, that feels good.

I like to race around too!

No need to make two trips when I haul bum, I'm fast and agile.

Look at me, banking into the turn!  I'm BETTER than those smelly boys.

Sunday Skyway Report

Kitties!

The DDoT (Daddy Department of Transportation) finished our Road to Nowhere Project.

Now we can go all the way across the Catio!

Here's the Purple Road, minutes after the installation.

Maui checks it out, while The Baby and Grayce relax on the Red Road.

Daddy put treats up there, and then he started tossing Cats!

Up onto the Roads, that is.

Felix as usual was a wildman...and he made the Purple Road twang!

LOUD.

So Daddy made a sisal connector street for us, which stopped the TWANG by stiffening up the Purple Road.

So Felix can get his laps in any time.

 This is what it looks like for us:

More Catio Fun

Kitties!

We have been out on our Catio non-stop since the weather cooled down.

Mommy was up at 7AM this morning, fed us, (note from Mommy: slopped the hogs) and had her coffee on the Catio.

Of course, she had to run in for her camera after a few minutes...

...cuz we're just so darn cute! (And Modest.)

Later in the evening, we're still hanging out!




CC rests on the ramp side of the West skyway.

He's thinking about running a few more circuits...

She's on part of the East (House) portion of the Skyway.

The Motel rooms are ready for occupancy!

If you biggify, you'll see each little room is lettered, so Mommy can say to Daddy "So-and-So's in Apartment C!" (or wherever)
