Sneaky Snackery

The Mystery Muncher here.

Mommy made fresh chikkun jerky last week and filled the treat jar.  She put the rest in a plastic bag which she stowed on top of the refrigerator--thinking it would be safe.

WRONG!!!!

Yesterday, when Mommy went to replenish the jar she discovered that not only had the bag been opened, it had been brutally savaged in the process--with chickkun bits strewn all over the top of the fridge, as well!

I ask you:  Whodunnit?

Yesterday's Mystery Whisker belonged to me...Mommy snagged it from out of my favorite nest, deep in the linen closet.  (Bottom shelf, all the way in the back, behind a nice fuzzy blanket on top of a cozy towel.  I set it up just for him, he loves to burrow.--ed)

Hint: It's not one of the Daddy's...MOL.

There's a Mystery Cat up on the skyway.

 Hmmmmmm, Mystery Cat is apparently tuxedo, so that narrows it down...

...to either Sylvester or Salem.

It's in the mid 80's here in the desert, and the higher you sleep on the Catio, the warmer it is...there are Dead Cats littered about up on the ramps.

Tricky Tuxedo

Salem here.

I'm in my lair behind the curtain in the bedroom--and as you can see from all the fur I like to hang out here a lot, and often.  Actually Mommy laundered these curtains three weeks ago!  I am shedding like mad, so Mommy told Daddy I needed a grooming.  (I prefer him to her, much to her dismay.  heh.)

So, Daddy went to town and furminated me until I was practically nekkid!

OK, not really, but judging from the fur pile in yesterday's post he removed at least another cat's worth of fur.

And, we staged a little reenactment video for you!

You'll hear me complaining talking the entire time--don't worry, Daddy's not hurting me or anything--that's just how I talk: "Ma-wah-WAH-WAH-wee-wa-wah".*  Gotta keep him in line, you understand!

Now, you might be wondering where was I in the post yesterday--Mommy typed that the Clue was in the post somewhere and it was--my name was in the labels, but *I* wasn't in any of the photos...just my furs.  There's even a little white patch in the middle of the pile, just like my vest.

Pretty tricky, huh?
