Kitties!
I do NOT admit to starting to become unferal.
This picture is nothing but lies!
I would never eat dried chicken strips out of my Mommy's fingers.
I would never call Her "Mommy".
Or lay around at night, gazing at her.
Ok, maybe once.
Once, every single night.
And sometimes in the morning.
But only because I'm hungry...four platters of food twice daily is not suficient for my needs.
This has been Scouty, and I am still a wild boy...in theory.
XXXXX
We bet it's wild chicken you're nomin.
ReplyDeleteDo not worry, we know you could still be wild... if you wanted to be!
ReplyDeleteOh lovely Scouty!! Of course you are a wildkitty at heart! And a beautiful one too. Me and Charlie think that you are just humouring your hoomans into thinking otherwise!
ReplyDeleteYou are a lovely orange lion - we hear you ROAR! :-)
Take care
x
It's all about how you feel, Scouty.
ReplyDeleteWe can see how ferocious you are when you take the chicken from your Mom's hands!
ReplyDeleteOh, Scouty--we know you're a fluffly, long haired city lion--you keep watch over your house--we see the ferociousness--and the gaze? Oh, heck that's just you stalking your prey..MOMMY and her lap! :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
We are all wild boys Scouty, but become skilled at manipulating those who think they domesticate us. Night time cuddles are lovely though!
ReplyDeleteWe all know the truth. You are completely wild. :) But you are also smart, and know that it's ok to luff the Mom back. And to luff the chicken.
ReplyDeleteWe know you are still Wild At Heart, Scouty! But it's nice to have chicken, too!
ReplyDeleteScouty if saying all that out loud makes it true then so be it...however, mom and I can read in between the lines and my friend we know better. You are enjoying the life of leisure w/o the trials and tribulations of the hard cruel out of doors life.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend,
Madi and Mom
I'm sure it's a withering stare, right? Just to have her feed you.. right?
ReplyDeletePS I've featured the lounge in my post today.
We would do anything for chicken. So we don't blame you.
ReplyDeleteOh my, we are the same way. Although we would prefer to have 5 platters of food a day and then we would really try to become unferal. It is kind of nice getting the attention though. We especially like the scratching.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week end.
We belive you, Scouty ;)
ReplyDeleteWe're all wild at heart Scouty but best not to broadcast it when taking food from the hand that feeds you.
ReplyDeleteWe are so thankful that you are only feral in your mind now........Yay for your wonderful home. xxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIS THAT BACON?!!!! BACON makes anything worth it if it is...
ReplyDeleteStar says, "Poohbears! Ignore anyone who says you are not feral. You are as feral as I am. It's just that your Feeders have become part of your pride. The very same thing happened to me. No, really. Otherwise, why would I be laying on mom's huge mousepad, taking up most of the space so that she can't use it?"
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Scouty. Perhaps you can have the best of both worlds somehow.
ReplyDeleteWow! You're a Feral~Unferal! Interesting...
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Scouty! I believe you. The real blessing is that you don't have to be feral because you have a great home with great food and a even greater mom!
ReplyDeleteIt's me again. Just wanted to tell you that they're just regular soap bubbles. We've never tried the nip bubbles. Hope your mom gets some for you all!
ReplyDeleteHey Scouty, it is perfectly fine to be a wild boy AND love your mommy, and eat all that great food! No problemo!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Scouty is finally becoming more social and allowing more personal interaction with his parents...It's nice to see him let his guard down and accept the love and kindness he has been afraid to allow in his life...I can't wait to see him curled up snuggling next to his Mom and Dad!...Happy Friday sweet friends...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteI say you can never take the lion out of a cat, so don't worry, Scouty! Those instincts are always there, but you get to enjoy having your meals made for you instead of killing them, and having a soft place to sleep, and cuddles from time to time. Not a bad life over all!
ReplyDeleteScouty, we just love your "wild boy ways!" You've got it made!!
ReplyDeleteWe is sure you is still wild at heart Scouty. Is ok to cept foods and lovings. You derseves them!
ReplyDeletehmmm, Souty... i do not quite believe you!
ReplyDeleteI can tell you are still a rough and tumble fella!
ReplyDeleteIs okay Scouty, we is all wild in theory...even our vet sez dat kitties is never really tamed, not like woofies.
ReplyDeleteWe know you're still a wild one even if you have your softie moments from time to time!
ReplyDeleteCourse you are Scouty. We can see how wild you are.
ReplyDeleteScouty
ReplyDeleteIt's OK to admit to being a former feral, in fact it's an honor.
It's also a BIG honor to have a forever and ever Mom and Dad and home...we are are happy that you do.

We feral kitties never want to totally lose our feral roots!
ReplyDeleteLaila
We know how THAT goes. First its food, then shelter, then scritchies, then litterboxes, an suddenly yer an indoor cat. Not that we ever were feral, but we hear stories, ya know?
ReplyDeleteScouty, I know how you feel. I love being inside now with foods to eat and toys to play with and soft places to sleep, but I still resist it sometimes. Every once and awhile I'll hiss at the lady with the yellow hair just so she thinks I'm still a wild feral cat! But I don't understand why she laughs at me when I do it!!
ReplyDeleteZoey
Inside every kitty lives a TIGER!
ReplyDeleteOk Scouty, yep, sure, tell me another one. What, the moon is made of stinky goodness? Bigfoot works at the 7-11 near your house? Sure kid!
ReplyDeleteScouty, yoo are purrfect just as yoo are!
