Floofy Friday--PURRS NEEDED!!

Kitties,

Johnny here, and I don't feel too good.

About a week ago I had a scuffle with one of my furblings, and I got bitten.
This happens all the time.

What doesn't happen all the time is this:
The Prisoner Transport Unit, complete with prisoner

Kitties, I had a bad owie.
I had a big swelling over my left eye, and Mommy knew it was an abscess, too big for her to lance and drain.
I hid under the PTU pad.

So Mommy took me to the VET today!
I sang brave fearless warrior songs in the car on the way there.
Then I hid under Mommy's sweatshirt!

If you are squeamish, don't biggify the next photo...
I look like a WARRIOR!

Kitties, they cleaned my teeth, too!  Like the vet didn't have enough to do.

When I got home (Thank Cod!) I had a long pee, a big meal of canned food and kibbles, and now I'm sleeping on the bed.
I have to go back in three days to get the drain tubes out.  Mommy says if I leave the tubes alone I won't have to wear a lampshade, so I'm trying very hard to be a good boy and not scratch or bother them.  Sleeping sounds like a pretty good option for now...g'night!

Happy Friday!

XX  Johnny

Kitties, Mommy Trish here...can you send a few purrs for our Big Boy?   He had a real doosey of an abscess, it came up very quickly and this morning it was red, hot and went from his ear to his eye.  I was pretty worried!  He had a two-week antibiotic shot so no dreaded pink juice, now all we need to do is keep him from pawing at the drains, and give him tons of lovins.

  1. Oh Johhny, all of our purr motors revved up instantly when we saw your owie. We are brave kitties and looked because...well, with 9 of us and a woofie, we've seen it all my furriend.

We think it's precious you hid under your mommie's sweatshirt.

It's ok if you end up wearing the cone. It will only be for a few days and you don't want to paw out the tube in your sleep.

    xoxo Cory & family

  6. Oh boy Johnny,
I'm sending you; lots of purrs for your full recovery from that terrible war wound.
Glad to hear you sang warrior songs on the way to the vet - that is such a good way to keep up one's spirits.

  7. You are indeed a warrior-hero, and we salute you. I sing triumphant battle songs in Box of Doom, just to show how little I am bothered. You were so brave not to pee in it. And those drains - wow! You have things sticking in your head and coming out again. I hope you got your own back on the one who bit you (we know, cat code of honour - you cannot say who). But we are hoping for your recovery fast and that the abscess completely goes away. So we are purring loudly for you, Johnny. And maybe be kind to your Mom and don't pull the nasty tubes out. Purr purr purr purr purr

  8. You are my hero, Johnny !
Me and My mom are about to collapse after we saw the tube stuck in your head.

And I think in the same way as Cory, You should wear the cone because even you can't help yourself and do scratch, You can't really do it because of the cone.

I'm sending lot of lot of purrs for you, Buddy ! I hope all of our purrs can do speedy healing for you.

Purrs, Kisses, Hugs to you and your family
