Kitties!
Daddy took the water filter out of the Great White Ham Safe, and he didn't put the new one in right away.
It left a hole!
An Evil Hole.
Felix was Deeply Suspicious.
What's this?
::slink::
I'd better use Extreme Caution...
...you never know where Monsters might be lurking.
Thousands and thousands of teeny tiny Monsters, waiting to tug my whiskers.
Or ZOMBIE Monsters!
Hungry for my branez.
oh Cod oh Cod oh Cod oh Cod...oh wait...nothing in there.
This time.
::tail flick::
Happy Wednesday!
XX Felix XX
pee ess: Thursday is our Cat-O-lympic Couter Surfing event! Don't miss it!
Some holes are better left alone - I am sure there are no mice in that one!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are safe. You just never know!
ReplyDelete*ducks head* It does look a tad evil to us too......*slinks away*
ReplyDeleteIt will be very important to remain vigilant against such things...
ReplyDeleteOh Felix, you are soooo brave!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat if there were monsters there and they got your whiskers? brrrrr.... thinking about it gave us the chills!!!!
*snort* Great White HAM Safe? We hadz no idea it was called that. MOL!
ReplyDeleteGood job at keeping your mommy and daddy safe Felix! T.
ReplyDeleteThe Great White Ham Safe--ha ha ha ha ha! Around here I will think of it as the Great White Half'n'Half Safe!
ReplyDeleteGood job investigating that very suspicious hole, Felix. And wow--TWO starring roles in two days! You da ManCat!
There could be cat treats in there!
ReplyDeleteMost brave. But we think that your Daddy is clever enough to turn that hole into a ham dispenser on demand!
ReplyDeleteThat took tons of courage!
ReplyDeletePhew, we are so glad there were no monsters in the hole :)xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave boy Felix!
ReplyDeleteFelix,
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Just be careful next time......you know..... har har har *evil laughs*
Okay. So I currently have three cats who would have three different reactions.
ReplyDeleteGracie would not give it the time of day. Never even show up on her radar.
Gandalf would react exactly like Felix; suspicious and askeered.
Grayson would try to get inside the hole if it were large enough and then go exploring.
I would not touch that hole with a ten-foot paw!
ReplyDeleteEvery time we look at Felix, we wonder if he doesn't have some Abyssinian blood in him. His coat is very similar to ours! Are his furs ticked?
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
That is some spooky hole!
ReplyDeletehahaha ~ well you can never be too careful!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
FELIX! BEWARE! It faked you OUT! DON'T go there!
ReplyDeleteBeware Felix - there could be a big snake hiding inside that hole.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That was some mighty fine investigating, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to rename our refrigerlator "The Great White Ham Safe." Sounds much better!
You are really awake and alert this morning pal. Good job of checking it out for safety.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a big cyclops eye, or a mousey hole.
ReplyDeleteBrave Felix!
Felix, The Detective!
ReplyDeleteWe'd shove some of our toys in the hole.
ReplyDeleteThe Maple Syrup Mob.xxx
wow felix. that took a lotta courage. you are a brave boy.
ReplyDeleteAny chance ham might leak out of the ham safe with that great big hole in it?
ReplyDeleteThe great white ham safe! LMFAO! I never thought to call it that. Now when I think of it, it will be the great white yummy safe since there are just too many good things inside - ham, cottage cheese, yogurt oh the list could go on and on.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh you look sooo suspocious, obviously many images of scary monsters are pppping up in your head :-) So glad nothing was there!
ReplyDeleteOh Felix - thank goodness your tail had flicked up again by the time of the final photo, showing that you were a happy cat once more.
ReplyDeleteYour downwards-sloping tail had even me scared about that hole in your precious ham larder. I hope your Daddy knows better now than to alarm his Felix.
Huggles and puRRRRumbles, Michelle and Zebby Cat
I'm always amazed by what cats don't miss! Good thing you checked it out, Felix.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad that hole didn't have an evil monster in it! Our mommy finds slinky cats hilarious so she was giggling through this entire post. She's just rude.
ReplyDeleteWatch out for the ham-stealing gremlins!
ReplyDelete; ) Katie
Low slung cat! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWe're looking forward to your Olympic Event tomorrow. It's gonna be fun.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle
Great white ham safe! MOL!!!!! Perfect name! But if it's a great white ham safe and there's a hole in it... maybe some hams will fall out! Tiny pieces of hams.. but hams none the less! Better inspect again Felix!
ReplyDeleteI don't know which is funnier 'the great white ham safe' or your pictures. Both cracked us up.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with us kitties...once mom got a new rug for in front of the sink. Dang think had a goose on it
it took me 2 days of circling and slinking before I finally realized it wasn't real.
hugs madi
LOL!!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
ReplyDeleteOh Cod!!! Mom caught me doing that when I saw my afghan folded in a different way...I was sneaking up on it...really careful..then I gave it a couple of whacks just to make sure it was my same old blue afghan and not something some alien dropped off at our house...whew...just like Felix, I dodged that danger!! paw pats, Savannah
ReplyDeleteFelix, good thing you didn't try to stick your head in there. You might have gotten stuck!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a high tech mouse hole to us!
ReplyDelete"hungry for your branez" MOL
ReplyDeleteFelix! you had me very worried for your brainz! I am the same way when anything is different in the house.
ReplyDelete~Minnie
xo
You are a very brave kitty Felix. Mom says none of us would have gone anywhere close to that who knows what...and it's true!
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku (Mom Eileen)
Felix, you are very wise. Best not to get too close to even tiny monsters.
ReplyDeleteYou can be sucked into that black hole and rendered into teeny tiny kitty bits suitable for stews and pies. Beware!
ReplyDeleteMy sweetie Scouty knew better!
Purrs,
MMM
MOL, Felix you are as silly as Target!
ReplyDeleteWe were hopin fer mice, but we unnerstand ya gotta be careful of hole monsters. They can be tricksy!!! Grab ya when ya are just lookin fer mice.
ReplyDeleteFelix! You are the Man! I would never have gotten that clos to that SCAREY hole!
ReplyDeleteKozmo at the Cat from Hell
Felix! Never walk away from evil holes, always back away very carefully. Just because you didn't see the monsters in there doesn't mean there aren't any. They have very long and thin arms and they grab the legs of unsuspecting kitties and drag them into the depths of evil holes never to be seen again.
ReplyDeleteYup, I think it's a ham-hole. You might want to check it out every once in a while, just to be sure.........
