The Evil Hole

Kitties!

Daddy took the water filter out of the Great White Ham Safe, and he didn't put the new one in right away.

It left a hole!

An Evil Hole.

Felix was Deeply Suspicious.
What's this?

::slink::

I'd better use Extreme Caution...

...you never know where Monsters might be lurking.

Thousands and thousands of teeny tiny Monsters, waiting to tug my whiskers.

Or ZOMBIE Monsters!
Hungry for my branez.

oh Cod oh Cod oh Cod oh Cod...oh wait...nothing in there.

This time.

::tail flick::

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Some holes are better left alone - I am sure there are no mice in that one!

  8. The Great White Ham Safe--ha ha ha ha ha! Around here I will think of it as the Great White Half'n'Half Safe!

Good job investigating that very suspicious hole, Felix. And wow--TWO starring roles in two days! You da ManCat!

  9. There could be cat treats in there!

  10. Most brave. But we think that your Daddy is clever enough to turn that hole into a ham dispenser on demand!

  13. Okay. So I currently have three cats who would have three different reactions.

Gracie would not give it the time of day. Never even show up on her radar.

Gandalf would react exactly like Felix; suspicious and askeered.

Grayson would try to get inside the hole if it were large enough and then go exploring.

  14. I would not touch that hole with a ten-foot paw!

  15. Every time we look at Felix, we wonder if he doesn't have some Abyssinian blood in him. His coat is very similar to ours! Are his furs ticked?

The great white ham safe! LMFAO! I never thought to call it that. Now when I think of it, it will be the great white yummy safe since there are just too many good things inside - ham, cottage cheese, yogurt oh the list could go on and on.

  26. Heh heh you look sooo suspocious, obviously many images of scary monsters are pppping up in your head :-) So glad nothing was there!

  27. Oh Felix - thank goodness your tail had flicked up again by the time of the final photo, showing that you were a happy cat once more.

Your downwards-sloping tail had even me scared about that hole in your precious ham larder. I hope your Daddy knows better now than to alarm his Felix.

  29. We're glad that hole didn't have an evil monster in it! Our mommy finds slinky cats hilarious so she was giggling through this entire post. She's just rude.

  32. Great white ham safe! MOL!!!!! Perfect name! But if it's a great white ham safe and there's a hole in it... maybe some hams will fall out! Tiny pieces of hams.. but hams none the less! Better inspect again Felix!

  33. I don't know which is funnier 'the great white ham safe' or your pictures. Both cracked us up.

What is it with us kitties...once mom got a new rug for in front of the sink. Dang think had a goose on it
it took me 2 days of circling and slinking before I finally realized it wasn't real.

  34. Oh Cod!!! Mom caught me doing that when I saw my afghan folded in a different way...I was sneaking up on it...really careful..then I gave it a couple of whacks just to make sure it was my same old blue afghan and not something some alien dropped off at our house...whew...just like Felix, I dodged that danger!! paw pats, Savannah

  38. Felix, you are very wise. Best not to get too close to even tiny monsters.

  39. You can be sucked into that black hole and rendered into teeny tiny kitty bits suitable for stews and pies. Beware!

    My sweetie Scouty knew better!

  43. Felix! Never walk away from evil holes, always back away very carefully. Just because you didn't see the monsters in there doesn't mean there aren't any. They have very long and thin arms and they grab the legs of unsuspecting kitties and drag them into the depths of evil holes never to be seen again.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yup, I think it's a ham-hole. You might want to check it out every once in a while, just to be sure.........

Oh Boy...this is gonna be GREAT!
