Kitties!
Thweet, I mean Sweet Pea here.
Gosh, it's hard to meow with feathers stuck to your tongue!
::giggle::
::snort::
Hey! Who's laughing at me?
Don't think I didn't hear you up there...
...both of you!
See--it's not as easy eating feathers as you guys thought!
ha ha ha!!!
There's one caught in your whiskers, May Ling!
May Ling: Be quiet. I like it there. It's decorative.
And Felix, did you know that you have a feather stuck to your nose?
Felix: Not any more, I don't.
We all agree, the Feathered Bon Bon is tasty, but significantly more difficult to consume than a can of stinky goodness. The sacrifices we kitties are forced to make...it's just too awful.
Happy Thursday!
XX Sweey Pea, May Ling, and Felix XX
Mirsku is on the plane, coming over to lik the feathers off your whiskers, May Ling.
ReplyDeleteFBB looks very very tasty. We wish we could partake but it seems you guys are doing a great job of dismantling it, feather by feather. We would like to know where your Mommy finds the feathers later as they could probably end up in all sorts of magnificent places eg the cereal box, Daddy's ebay orders etc.
If we werent hostessing a party, we would be over there RIGHT NOW! Enjoy the fevvers...
ReplyDeleteWow--I never heard of an FBB before, but sheesh--there's a FORTUNE to be made in the production and marketing of these things. We'd probably have to enslave, like--what? 100,000 assorted birds and keep them working like 19 hours a day with a good steady supply of twigs and high-quality seed so they'd have lots of energy. Maybe we could run a little bird porn in the background to put them into a nest-building frame of mind....we could strike a sweet deal with PetSmart .... there'd be no end to the profits! What d'ya say, Kids? Can we put on a show?
ReplyDeleteHey feather bon bon, sweet sugar dumpling....ooops....y'all made me break into a song! purrr....meow!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mommy should put some chopped chicken in there for you!
ReplyDeleteSweet Pea - in the first photo it looks like you just haucked up that pile o'stuff
ReplyDeleteYou kitties are getting every last feather from that nest!

ReplyDeleteUhhh ,yes I'm laughing...
ReplyDeleteha ha - still working on that birds nest are we? I'm sad cuz we have snow on the ground and no birdies in their nests so none have fallen out of the trees. That sure looks like it's full of good smells.
ReplyDeleteOooh... I love the sleek lines on your condo!
ReplyDeleteWe are laughing at you... just a little bit. That nest looks like it was so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSorry,Sweet Pea, the laugh just slipped out =)
