Friday Feast




Kitties!

The Baby here.

Mommy went to the store and bought ME a treat:

Gerber's (The) Baby food!
Chicken and gravy flavor.
I had never tasted (The) Baby food before, so I was somewhat skeptical...

...for about 0.02 seconds.

Oh.  My.  CATS.

This stuff is sooooooooo delicious.  I ate a whole jar in one go, and it enticed me to tuck into another quarter can of wet food, too.  Mommy was so thrilled to see me eat with such enthusiasm she went out and bought a dozen more jars of pureed infantile goodness--and I get some every day now.  Please don't tell, but I come running from a dead sleep as soon as I hear the seal crack open...in fact yesterday Daddy opened a fresh jar of pickles and I appeared out of thin air only to be cruelly disappointed!

I can't wait to find out if the beef entree is as tasty...

    We can vouch for this - we saw some of your slurpings on skype. No need to wash the bowls afterwards either. We wonder if we can buy this nectar here.

    Wow, I bet I would LOVE that stuff! But then, I love any food I encounter! Apparently at one point, my human tried baby food on Sparkle, and can you believe she turned her nose up at it?

    We used to be able to get that here and the kitties get it when they're I'll or have no appetite. But we can't get it here now, not at anyplace at all.

    I never thought of baby food, but will get some for my Charlie. He has gotten so he doesn't eat like he use too and I need something to entice him...I'll try this!

    We use Gerber's human (the) Baby good to socialize feral kittens, both the chicken and the turkey flavors. Sunny and Sky were socialized this way five years ago, and they still show up every time they hear the magical sound of a baby food jar being opened.

    Darling, If Mommy *really* cared, she'd feed it to you properly: Little fingerful by little fingerful. Correct service demands Mommy dip her finger in the jar, allow you to lick it all off, and then double (and triple and quadruple and quintuple [etc.]) dip. That way, you don't even have to stand up! You can recline in your beddie like the Empress you are and have your kitty crack at the very same time!
