Kitties!
As you know, we have two collared lizards who live in our entryway.*
One of which we hadn't seen doing their morning push ups (and poop!) for a while.
Well, Daddy found him!
The bigger lizard, Jorge, somehow got himself stuck in this yard waste bin** and couldn't leap out. Fortunately--for him--Daddy didn't dump him out with the trash.
We hear you all asking, did Daddy bring Jorge in for US?
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
That traitor set him free to scamper up to the office window and tease us with his scaly goodness.
*sigh*
Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
Happy Monday!

*and a toad, but that's another story
**i.e., old litter box
What is wrong with your Daddy ? Jorge would have such fun with you guys on the catio. It would give him such an adrenalin rush at the end of his reptilian life.
ReplyDeleteMy human loves watching lizards do push ups! And she always tries to make friends with them. Weird! How come she won't just catch and eat them like us smart kitties?
ReplyDeleteHumans. They never stop to surprise us, do they?
ReplyDeletethat is something our mom would do too! at least now though there is the chance this Jorge might find his way to the Katio...
ReplyDeletepip, smidgen, minnie ,hollie
We got lizards here too - I luv it when dey get in da house!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any lizards here, not sure what I would do with one. You have a great day kitties.
ReplyDeleteThe 'rents are always wrecking our fun, aren't they? He would have led y'all a merry chase before CRUNCH! He looks like a crunch-er.
ReplyDeleteYour Daddy didn't bring him in to you? Good thing he was saved from the bin, though. The had peep has had a few unwelcome lizard mummy surprises when lizards were trapped in odd places here.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Daddy thought it best for Jorge to fatten himself up after his incarceration. It is not much fun trying to catch something that is skin and bone.
ReplyDeleteHooray! I'm glad the daddeh saved him. (sorry, kitties)
ReplyDeleteWe once found an opossum in our garbage can. We thought he was playing dead...but then he really was dead. And then Joe had to find a place to dump his dead body because a dead body in our garbage is really stinky and nobody wanted to deal with that. So, I made Joe wrap him up in a bunch of bags and take him to the dumpster at the school--which was probably illegal, but I made Joe do it...so who cares if he got in trouble? :) (We didn't get caught)
We think y'all are so lucky just to have these guys to look at and to monitor their activities. They are so fun and interesting. Our mom is fascinated by lizards. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeletehey, just whose side is your dad on anyway?
ReplyDeleteWe're very glad your daddy rescued the lizard.
ReplyDeleteThat lizard would make a nice meal not a treat like the ones around here do!
ReplyDeleteWe have not seen lizard yet in purrson. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
We are glad he's safe and will live for you to stalk him some more. Hope he found some good juicy bugs to eat once he got set free.
ReplyDeleteOur mom is not a reptile person, but we think Jorge looks pretty juicy!
ReplyDeleteOh man! Jorge woulda been so much fun to play with!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like fun! Thank cod your daddy rescued him. We had a baby lizard visit us on the balcony but that was only once. I guess she had better things to do.
ReplyDeleteLizards do push-ups? We did not know that...maybe we need one of those to encourage the mom bean.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad Daddy didn't bring him in for just a taste, MOL
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
That's too bad he couldn't come in for at least a little while but at least your daddy saved him for you to get later!
ReplyDeleteHas yous all presented your Daddy with the back of shame!? That would fix him!
ReplyDeleteKisses
