Mommy's back east home team, The Chicago Cubs, are in hot contention to win the World Series.  This has provided some premium, extended lap time for all of us me.

She's pretty good about not getting overly excited or screamy during the games--always a plus.

And see those FUR-rows on my flank?

She pets me for (her) stress relief!

I hope the Cubs win a little more often than once every 108 years...this is great.

The second exciting thing is that we have a winner (chosen randomly by Daddy) for the super-duper prize drawing in Friday's post.  D Ma, butler to the Boyz Theo, Diego-san, and Thompson!   

Their caption for the photo of The Baby on the sheepskin was: "that blanket used to be black", which totally cracked up up, The Baby does indeed shed enough to do that, LOL.

We'll be mailing out some CATIO CHIPS! and a fun mystery prize this week to the boyz, just as soon as D Ma sends us a snail mail addy.

Of course it goes without saying that CATIO CHIPS! make a great stocking stuffer for Catmas, and every other day of the year for that matter...and if you're not quite sure you would like them (but you will!) we have a sampler 1-oz size available in our store.

Whew.  This was a lotta news...we need naps...

Tuesday Tidying

It's Tuesday, which means TWO things! 

1)  Mommy is home so I gotta get spruced up...she says I'm SUCH a handsome boy and I don't want to disappoint.

2)  I get to announce the winners of the drawing from those of you who purchased our initial offering of CATIO CHIPS!

Because Daddy is a unclear on the concept of a "contest"and all about fairness terrible businessman he decided that everybody won!

He will be mailing out wild-n-crazy tie-dyed tea towels this week to all of you who bought Chips.

Of course, it's us furkids who really scored, 'cos WE get to eat the CATIO CHIPS and all the peeps get is a lousy set of linens...

*heh heh heh*

Thanks to everyone who sampled our wares...Daddy processed another thirty pounds of chicken this past weekend so we have plenty on hand if you have already gobbled daintily consumed your first order...or if you haven't ordered yet there's enough to fill you up!

Swag and Surprise!

Thank COD that BlogPaws (and the Invasion of the Crazy Cat Ladies) is over...although Mommy cleaned up really well with the vendor swag!

Actually, this is only a portion of what she shlepped home; the pantry is chock full o'treats, foodables, and toys, which she is stingily appropriately doling out for our discriminating palates and amusement.  

And speaking of amusement, look what Mommy won for us in the Hauspanther drawing:

We have lots more to post about BlogPaws, but first we want to say "Thank You" for all your good wishes for Johnny and The Baby.  John is 100% well (and producing his regular epic poops), and The Baby is feeling a little better.  She's having an ultrasound this week to let the vet have a look at her innards and hopefully image whatever the problem is so she can move forward with getting back into tip-top condition.

We're just taking it easy today, so more tomorrow!

Please excuse the fact that I look a little fuzzy, earlier I was doing this:

I'm reclining on the cut open bag, enjoying the hallucinogenic heady scent.

Mommy sifted it to remove the stems, and there was nip dust all over the counter. 

 Mommy wiped off the counter with her hands and rubbed them all over our furs, so our coats were most excellently nippercized! 

Things may have gotten a little rowdy.

But it didn't last...because we had to pick a winner for our bag o'nip giveaway!

We counted up the entrants and asked Daddy (our Extremely Random Number Generator) to pick a number.

2012 Olympic COUNTER SURFING!!!

We had TONS of fun hosting the Counter Surfing event.  

Let's check out the competition:

It's Prancer Pie teaching little bro Princeton not only the fine art of counter surfing, but also synchronized snarfing!

Here's Sadie, boldly surfing in front of the kitchen sink.  Mommy laughed, the picture file was called "caught".

Madi performs some serious multi-tasking while surfing, assisting her Mom with making lists, and guarding the coffee maker.
