Kitties!
Felix here.
I'm hanging with Daddy in his my office, lounging on the comfy blanket Mommy folded up for us kitties who lay on the window ledge.
We're verreh busy, watching birdies!
Right now the bird-watching scene is hot-hot-hot, cos there are lots and lots of different types of birds migrating through our area; in fact, Mommy saw one of these on Saturday:
Isn't he a tasty,...erm...handsome looking fellow?
As we are only a mile (as the bird flies, MOL) away from the wash that drains the entire valley and the riparian ecosystem that surrounds it, we get to observe a wide variety of snax birds passing through.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to making my menu selections...
Happy Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteBird TV is quite the attraction around here. Sadly for the birdies, Gandalf actually catches a few.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the view, Felix!
Bird watch is quiet difficult here, cats catch them if they stay too long, especially Arthur. But it's nice that you have such a private Television !
ReplyDeleteYum, looks like you get quite a variety!

We are so jealous that you get such lovely birdies to drool over on Cat TV! We only get crows, starlings and sparrows. If we're really lucky, we'll see a blue jay.

Hi! My name is Nermal...I'm just turning three today...I wasn't sure how to contact you, so I'm leaving a comment. I just started a blog today, since it's my birthday and I want to start blogging my adventures. I'm not sure how to get into the blogging community so if you could offer some advice or follow, that would be sooo amazing and totally make my birthday!
ReplyDeletePlease email me at: nermalwhiskers@gmail.com
Thanks and I like your blog a lot!
A loving kitty cat,
Nermal
OH how delicious is THAT!? WE had a Rose Breasted Grosbeak coming through yesterday. He would have been more than my tummy could hold though. I'd have to share with Mom.

ReplyDeleteFelix, we can see you salivating! That is a really gorgeous bird that we don't recognize. Do you or your mom know what it is? Maybe she can tell us in her next post. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

ReplyDeleteI bet you guys wouldn't need any salt or pepper, either. I also bet they taste like chicken.
ReplyDeleteTruly an epicurean delight!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, how fun! Do you have a feeder up near that window so you can see them up close? We've noticed all the activity at the feeders is amping up as all the birdies are working on nests and getting ready for baby bird season/hors d'oeuvres.
ReplyDeleteWow, sweet Felix! You sure have some fine, colorful birds to choose from. Nice place to observe them from too. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeletewow. did you know Bird Watching is the only hobby humans and cats share? except that humans are so lazy they never even bother to stalk or creep or make little birdie noises. but i'm sure you can show them how it's done right. good luck!
