Feathered Amuse Bouce

Kitties!


Felix here.
I'm hanging with Daddy in his my office, lounging on the comfy blanket Mommy folded up for us kitties who lay on the window ledge.
We're verreh busy, watching birdies!

Right now the bird-watching scene is hot-hot-hot, cos there are lots and lots of different types of birds migrating through our area; in fact, Mommy saw one of these on Saturday:

Isn't he a tasty,...erm...handsome looking fellow?
As we are only a mile (as the bird flies, MOL) away from the wash that drains the entire valley and the riparian ecosystem that surrounds it, we get to observe a wide variety of snax birds passing through.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to making my menu selections...

    Bird TV is quite the attraction around here. Sadly for the birdies, Gandalf actually catches a few.

    Bird watch is quiet difficult here, cats catch them if they stay too long, especially Arthur. But it's nice that you have such a private Television !

    Ooooh, how fun! Do you have a feeder up near that window so you can see them up close? We've noticed all the activity at the feeders is amping up as all the birdies are working on nests and getting ready for baby bird season/hors d'oeuvres.

    wow. did you know Bird Watching is the only hobby humans and cats share? except that humans are so lazy they never even bother to stalk or creep or make little birdie noises. but i'm sure you can show them how it's done right. good luck!
