A whole week of no posting and Mommy resumes blogging with a stupid ROCK.

She claims it's for the Saturday Photohunt, and the theme this week is 

~AQUA~

which is the color of the copper salts leaching out of this boulder that she saw on one of her aimless ramblings walks.

Lame, Mommy...lame.

The Cessation of Summer

I snapped this view of the Strip (it's there, trust me) Friday morning while walking down to the wash.  On the way back home I got to see how well my healed kneecap did with a little jogging--it started pouring when I was about a half-mile from the house!  Other than a small limp, I did great (no pain) and I only got a little damp.  So, judging from all the clouds and record breaking rainfall* we've had the past two days, I think it's safe to say that summer is over.
